INTRODUCTION:

As a practising Gynaecologist for some 15 years, there are a number of questions that women ask me time and again. My team and I have put together this website to serve as an information source to answer some of the most commonly asked questions by women about gynaecological problems, investigations and procedures.

I would like to stress, however, that should you have any concerns about your symptoms I strongly recommend that you seek further advice from your family doctor who could give initial reassurance and, if deemed necessary, refer you on to a qualified gynaecologist.

Gavin Kemball, MRCOG., BSC., MSC., MBBS.
